Mechanical (shear-head bolt) connectors are a reliable and efficient method of connecting conductors of different cross sections or material composition upto 35 kV.
The body is made of high strength, tin plated aluminium alloy. Threaded design of the inner surface can pierce the oxide layer on the surface of the conductor to ensure superior electrical and mechanical performance.
Bolts are made of superior aluminium alloy. These hexagonal torque controlled shear head bolts will not damage the conductor or the body of the connector.
Our mechanical connectors come with inserts which allow for range taking ability of a single connector thereby reducing stock.
